Central concepts:

Personal information is information that alone or together with other information can be used to identify, locate or contact a person. Examples of personal data are name, telephone number and IP address.


Processing of personal data involves all forms of handling of personal data such as: collection, analysis, registration and storage.


The controller is the person who determines the purpose of the processing of personal data and which information is requested. It is the data controller who is responsible for the handling of your personal data in accordance with the applicable Personal Data Act.


What information do we collect?

When you register via the contact form for offers or visit our website, you may be asked to provide information. Depending on the situation, we may potentially request the following personal data:

It is voluntary for those who visit the website to provide personal information in connection with contacting us using the contact form. The information here is used exclusively to respond to inquiries, as long as nothing else is agreed afterwards. Customers of Bærum Kennel AS must provide information that can establish and maintain the customer relationship. This includes, among other things, name, e-mail, telephone number and address. The purpose here is exclusively to look after the customers' interests, as well as to communicate in a supplier/customer relationship.


Information from other sources

When you agree to us processing your personal data, you also approve that we can register other information about you that you have given us on a previous occasion. Based on publicly available information, we can also supplement your registered information with industry and additional contact information. If you are a customer of ours, we can also add additional contact information to your information, which you have registered with us via e.g. telephone for customer service. Information that is necessary for the services you will use will also be stored.


The purpose of processing the personal data:

When carrying out our business, and when establishing and following up customer relationships, we collect and process personal data. When you contact us, you agree that we can use your personal data to:

This data processing is necessary for us to be able to deliver our services to you as a customer. By contacting us, you agree that Bærum Kennel AS can use and process personal data in line with the aforementioned, cf. GDPR article 6 no. 1 letter ac.

The information you provide is used for the following purposes:

    Sales and marketing activities in the form of direct e-mail or telephone contact. Customer care and information about our services. Web analysis to obtain statistics and information about user behavior to improve both the website, the user experience itself and the service offer. So that we can give you a more personal experience and deliver services. and other content that interests you


Certain data may be shared with an external provider of web analytics for the purpose of obtaining assistance to optimize the user experience, give you a more personalized experience and deliver services and other content that interests you.

When you consent to us processing your personal data in accordance with the above-mentioned purposes, you consent to us processing your personal data in accordance with this privacy policy, and to us being able to contact you via e-mail or telephone.


Analysis of traffic

This website uses various web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) and other measurement tools to analyze how users use the website. These tools use cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to collect standard internet logs and information about visitor behavior in an anonymous form. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) is transmitted to Google and sometimes to other providers. This information is then used to evaluate users' visits to the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity.

We will never, and will not allow any third party to use statistical analysis tools to track or collect personally identifiable information about website visitors. Any analysis providers do not associate your IP address with other data that they hold. Neither we nor the web analytics providers will link, or attempt to link, an IP address with the identity of a computer user. We will not associate data obtained from this website with personally identifiable information from any source, unless you explicitly submit that information via a form on the website.


How long is the information stored?

We only process the personal data for as long as it takes to fulfill the purpose of their collection, after which the information will be deleted.

If you have an active dialogue with us, we will take care of your information for two years from the last contact; then we remove the information we have about you. An active dialogue is defined as you having interacted with Bærum Kennel AS or representatives for us in the last two years via telephone, by answering e-mails, downloading material on the website or registering via a form.

In the event that you are employed by a company that is a customer of ours, we process your information within the scope of customer processing. For active customer relationships, we process your information until (1) you end your position in the business, or (2) the business no longer has an active customer relationship with us. When a customer relationship ends, the terms for storing and processing information change to the same terms as described in the previous sections. If you end your employment with the company, you yourself are responsible for notifying us so that we can delete your information.


With whom can the information be shared?

Information provided will be available to a limited number of people in the business, who either work with marketing, customer support or sales.

Your rights in relation to access, deletion and possible relocation

You have the right to receive information about what information we have about you. You can also demand that we correct incorrect information or delete your information.


If you wish to withdraw your consent or demand an overview of information, correction or deletion, contact us at the e-mail address we have specified under the section for contact information. To receive such information, you must send an electronic copy of the request on a signed document. If you want to move information, we can also help you with that.


Other purposes

If we are to use the personal data for a purpose other than that for which it was collected, the obligation to provide information will start again and we must then state what the new purpose is and give parts of the information to the recipient again.


E-mail and telephone

We use e-mail and telephone as part of our daily work. Relevant information that emerges from telephone calls and e-mail exchanges that take place as part of customer processing is registered in the customer system.


Our employees also use e-mail in general dialogue with internal and external contacts. The individual is responsible for deleting messages that are no longer relevant, and at least every year to review and delete unnecessary content in the e-mail box. Upon resignation, the e-mail accounts are deleted, but certain relevant e-mails will normally be transferred to colleagues.


Sensitive personal data must not be sent by e-mail.


We draw your attention to the fact that regular e-mail is unencrypted. We therefore do not encourage you to send confidential, sensitive or other confidential information via e-mail.
